Our team is on the search for someone who can sell and execute Artisan by Santa Barbara Catering award-winning events. This candidate would be responsible for selling, event planning, and execution of their events. Our next team member will ensure that guest satisfaction and enhancement of positive client relationship is achieved. You will be responsible for business development including existing and new clients.

Major Areas of Responsibility
• Aggressively pursue sales opportunities and leads on “call days” to include selling, planning and executing events.
• Pursue leads through outside sales, networking and other means to grow individual client base.
• Contribute to the delivery of the Artisan by Santa Barbara Catering brand of creating a rewarding experience for guests through innovative cuisine, exceptional service and creative presentation.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Create proposals for clients with accurate staffing, rental fees, food costs, and other vendor pricing.
2. Consult with clients during event planning, organizing, and coordinating, to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
3. Maintain accurate client, event, and proposal information in Company database.
4. Take Sales calls as assigned follow-up with requested information within 24 hours.
5. Prepare information for weekly distribution by the assigned deadlines; distribute paperwork timely.
6. Oversee event logistics including paperwork flow, proposal accuracy and timeliness, and communication with Operations Manager, Service Manager, Executive Chef, and Owner
7. Ensure the success of events by coordinating with client, venue, chefs, staffing manager, operations, captain, and other ASBC staff members.
8. Plan and execute all donated / marketing events.
9. Attend event meetings and review packing sheets and proposals.
10. Attend events as needed to include weekends and evenings.
11. Maintain good working relationships with all managers, sales team, and all other staff to include kitchen, office, operations and banquet personnel.
